Mil Mi-2 Миль Ми-2

Mil Mi-2 Миль Ми-2 on display at the Muzej vazduhoplovstva Beograd at Beograd's Nikola Tesla International Airport in Beograd (Belgrade) Serbia.

"The Yugoslav Air Force purchased 2nd September 1969 couple first of 15 at all helicopters, of this type, intended for light transport, (mainly medical material), as swell as for the search and rescue service. During recent years they were in  the on  duty service of the Auto-Moto Union of Yugoslavia, in transport of medical personnel, or evacuation  persons, hurt in traffic accidents, (carrying four injured and one medical person).
The example exposed (the Yugoslav  Air Force serial 12513, c/n 541307129), was used as a medical helicopter. In the Yugoslav Air Force Aircraft Register was listed on 17th January 1970, and during service by turns was based at Batajnica and Niš, until October 1987, when was withdrawn from operative use, to be given to the Air Museum in March 1989."
